Full Name: Nál Lokison
Alias: Lie-Smith, Nathaniel/Natalie Loris, a plethora of aliases when he masquerades as other people.
Nicknames: None
Birthplace: Asgard
Current Residence/Base of Operations: Midgard, NYC
Species: Asgardian and Frost Giant
Gender: Gender fluid
Age: 25 years
Alignment: Villain
Allegiance: Whichever suits him best at the time
PHYSICAL
Height: 5'10
Weight: 320 lbs
Hair Color/style: Though Nál can change it on a whim, his true color is a deep raven black. Normally he wears it a platinum blonde so light it appears as a silvery white with the tips fading into a rich gold. He wears it long and open most of the time, but has been known to sweep the long length into a variety of styles, preferring more feminine trends.
Eye Color: By birthright, an unholy deep red that bleeds to fill his entire eye, but he prefers to represent his parents by having one eye a jade green and the other an ice blue.
Other: With the ability to shift his appearance very few have ever seen Nál’s true appearance. As he is of Frost Giant blood, so does his looks represent it. His skin is the color of blue ice, a chilling look coupled with red eyes and black hair, he takes after Loki in his slender build. His illusionary look, he takes his cue from both parents, Loki’s pale skin and Thor’s mane but chooses to not take on masculine traits of either, preferring his androgynous looks that keeps people guessing. Long raised scars litter the back of Nál’s shoulders, back, bottom and legs from being whipped in his youth and healed poorly. Illusions make them vanish from eye and touch and no one is the wiser.
Nál surrounds himself in finery and riches, his tailored clothing is always exquisite and expensive and wears only the most current trends. A finicky lover of fashion, he looks stunning in green. He prefers clean lines and solid colors though texture is important and if it is pleasing to look at it, he has to have it. His clothing blends between genders depending on how he feels and looks and is a fan of heeled boots. Jewelry and makeup is a must and he is never seen as anything less than flawless.
He possesses Asgardian clothing but rarely wears them unless needed. He wears sparse armor over his uniform of black, gold and green and has only recently been influenced by Thor’s style. Though instead of a cape, he wears a long form fitting coat with gold vambraces over a short black tunic dress, trousers and knee high boots. He dons a small golden circlet crown with tiny horns along his brow and small wings that arch above his ears.
Equipment and Weapons: Periodically mystical items and rare Asgardian herbs will fall into his possession, legally or illegally from another realm and used to enhance his magical abilities. These don’t come cheaply nor easily. Though normally considered a performance art, Nál uses twin Meteor Poi as weapons. Made by the dwarves of Nidavellir, they were forged from uru and enchanted by Loki himself, making them hearty weapons and nearly unbreakable. Named Skoll and Hati, they are two large metal spheres connected to an arms length of chain decorated in runes. They absorb magic spoken to them and can produce a wintery frost like that of a touch of a Frost Giant. He swings them in the fashion of a Poi dancer, relying on agility and speed rather than brute strength. When not in use, they are able to collapse into a single unit and with a few words of magic, reform to create a simple stylish cane. The length of the cane looks to be made out of the chains wrapped around one another with the handle housing the two small spheres, giving them a faint blue glow of it’s power.
Powers: Nál posses the ability to shift and change his body at will, using it at all times to hide his true appearance and appear more like an Asgardian. Developed from early on, he has only had years to master it rather than centuries and is able to take on any form imagined from other people, animals and occasionally the inanimate object, though he sees that as deeming to his character. Like Loki, it is one of his more taxing abilities but he refuses to give it up, even in sleep. A few of his favorite animals are cats, ravens, and foxes, able to take on their basic natural abilities. Nál is able to change up his gender as well, befitting his mind frame for the day.
As an Asgardian and Frost Giant, Nál is gifted with a lot of natural abilities. Far from immortal, though he’ll never say it, he ages at a much slower rate than a human. To stop his aging all together and keep his health and vigor, he relies on the golden apples of Iduun. Though he is a man of 25 years, his looks are much younger and easily mistaken as a youth of Midgard. Along with an extended life, he posses superhuman strength though fairly weak when compared to an Asgardian, only able to heft up to 10 tons. It is a personal shame that he is not as strong as his parents and doesn’t have an answer as to why. To compensate he can enhance his physical strength through magic and enchantment for short periods of time but rarely does so. His strength is also based on the fact he has a denser body mass, accounting for his thin build and heavy weight. This fortifies him with the durability to withstand physical and energy attacks that would normally take a man of his size down. This however does not protect him from piercing attacks, bullets harm him as much as the next person. He is naturally immune to Midgard diseases. Nál is way and above the spectrum of physical stamina and though he isn’t as strong as Loki, he makes up for it being able to exert himself for up to 20 hours at full capacity before fatigue set in. Nál’s reflexes and dexterity are that of a cat and one can even consider him hyperaware of his surroundings, relying on the quickness of himself rather than strength. His regenerative healing factor has more than once saved his life from the brink, healing about 3x faster than a human though he is unable to reattach missing limbs or regrow them without the aid of powerful magic. Finally, Nál has a natural tolerance to extreme cold and is wholly unaffected by it. His touch is never quite warm but a soothing cool and his breath icy.
Skills: Like all Asgardians Nál is capable of speaking with the All-Tongue, anyone who hears him will understand him in their native language. Inherited from both parents, he also has the skill of magic and illusions. He’s able to manipulate magic to enhance himself physical and mentally for brief periods, gaining the ability of levitation rather than flight. Nál can generate eldritch energy blasts like concussion beams of force through his weapons, usually when concealed as a cane. They can range in strength from a slight push to major damage and even death. Force fields for protection and containment, able to withstand physical and energy based attacks and are nearly impenetrable by force, capable to keep the might of Frost Giants out.
He can conjure up realistic illusions of doppelgangers and monsters, inanimate objects and people. They are however, still simple illusions and cannot physically harm a person. He uses his illusions to trick and manipulate those around him and few are as well versed in Asgardian magic as him and are able to see through the illusions. Though he has access of the Bifrost, Nál can move between realms by using the secret rifts and tunnels created by Loki. He uses this as a means of traveling between Midgard and Asgard to bypass Heimdall’s eye. Heimdall still sees him, just not the paths he takes.
A tricky fighter, Nál has learned to rely on his swiftness and cunningness. He isn’t the unstoppable force of his father and has adapted to find the holes to slid through, twist and contort himself, keeps small and tight to draw a combatant into his circle. It’s fluid and skilled, almost like a dance. A silver tongued devil, he learned from the best and has a way with his words. He can speak poetic lies like truth, weave a fluent and clever tale in eloquence and deceit and persuade even the most stubborn of souls with flattery and charisma.
Weaknesses:
1.) Jealousy is trait passed down from Loki to Nál and he is a slave to it. It consumes him with feelings of insecurities, anger and resentment and plays a heavy role in his decision making. The fear of loss and suspicion of betrayal alienates him and he often has a poor understanding of human nature.
2.) A Frost Giant’s greatest weakness is heat and Nál is no exception. Though he is able to withstand the normal temperatures and sun of Midgard, prolonged exposure will affect him like an illness. He will become dizzy over time and exhausted, his pulse will become rapid and weak and will eventually faint. If he’s not cooled soon after fainting, then he runs a greater risk of harm and eventually death.
3.) Nál’s magic requires the use of his voice and tongue and simply silencing his ability to speak will cut magical ties and be unable to preform a single incantation.
4.) Though he has the potential to become a great sorcerer like Loki, his youth and lack of time is his downfall. His magical abilities are limited and stunted on Midgard, even with the blood of Thor running through his veins.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER
Personality: Nál surrounds himself in lies and falsities, always to make himself appear more than he really is. A silent and unacknowledged childhood has made him crave attention, purposefully starved of it in order to bring about a twisted loyalty to Loki. He needs the reassurance that he cannot be ignored and thrown away and so any attention is good attention. He is known to act out and commit reckless and risky acts to gain it and have fun while doing it as even the smallest of reactions keeps him going. There is a sense of detachment from him, bottling up true emotions to put on airs of superiority and he is unflinching. He never lets you see what he doesn’t want you to see. It also gives him a sense of shallowness, unable to comprehend the needs of others around him. He is quickly labeled apathetic of anything that doesn’t involve him.
On the surface Nál is charming, generous and quite flirtatious and with the ability to change one’s looks, he is adapt at becoming anyone’s ideal mate. Mischievous by nature, he entices those he’s interested away from others through a play of temptations and desires only to corrupt and break them down for fun. He has left a lot of broken men and women in his wake. He also uses it as a means to gain a plethora of information, fine things and whatever else he desires. It is safe to assume every word that passes through Nál’s lips is a lie, of course it’s hard to tell when one has inherited a silver tongue from the great god Loki. He can speak as sweetly as a scholar and mock an empathic understanding, manipulation is key to getting what he wants and he doesn’t care how. Everyone has a weaknesses and he is keen to unearth and use it, watching with a sharp eye for the subtleties that give them away.
Nál is an elusive soul, quick to change and become another facade before one gets too close. He prefers to tackle any problems from the side, rather than head on in his personal life and in the public. He has had to learn to use his wit and tongue in place of brute strength in a society built upon warriors and it came with a price no child should ever bear. He never speaks of his youth in Jotunheim but one can hazard a guess to the horrors he went through. As a result, Nál purposefully clouds his emotions and feelings, adding to the complexity of his inner self. He spends so much time pretending to be something else, he’s not sure where his illusions stop and he begins.
Nál believes himself a prince of two realms and visions of uniting them fill his head with grandeur and this only translates into his life. Midgardians know nothing of him and nothing hurts more than being thought of as nothing. Routine bores him and he lives for excitement and has developed an underground name for himself. He dabbles in illegal affairs and generally makes a nuisance of himself, all the name of fun.
A jealous individual, nobody takes anything from him nor do they show him up and he is quick to enact revenge and hold grunges. He will cut you down with words as easily as a blade. There his true ruthlessness comes out and he is vicious and cunning. His jealousy clouds him easily, making him obstinate and impulsive and what makes him so easy to manipulate by Loki. Nál will do anything he asks of him and has blinded himself with the belief that Loki truly loves his child. He still considers Thor his father but there is a wall between them and what little interaction he has had, has been nothing but a struggle.
History: Utgard-Loki, monarch and ruler over the Frost Giants disappeared one night in the late of winter. At the same time Loki Laufeyson slipped from Asgardian prisons and vanished into Jotunheim and wasn’t seen for nearly a decade. There were no news of Loki incidents or attacks and many feared a war would be on the rise. As time went by, the number of worried individuals lessened and fear was replaced with optimistic rejoice that the God of Mischief had perished in a struggle of power in Jotunheim, resulting in the loss of both he and Utgard-Loki. Their rejoice was eventually silenced.
Loki returned to Asgard, a young child of five years in his possession and demanded council with the king. When it was hesitantly granted, Loki met privately with Thor and introduced him to Nál, his child. He was instantly met with disbelief and with all the patience he was known for, Loki went on to explain he had taken the form of a woman during a celebration several years ago and shared a night with the more than exuberant king.
Outraged, Thor demanded the lies to stop. How could his brother make such a outlandish claim and expect him to believe him? Unmoved by the haughty display Loki challenged him, if the king of Asgard was so truly upset, kill the child and be done with it. Thor looked to the child, pale skin and golden hair, so much smaller than he expected an offspring of his to be. He took notice of the scars and the distant look in the mismatching colored eyes, one unmistakably the very color of his own. Taking to a knee, he called the child to him to examine them at arms length and was mildly surprised at the coolness of their skin. Carefully, he asked to see the real Nál and he could see the distrust in the child’s eyes before an icy blue took the place of pale skin and eyes of red and hair of black followed. There wasn’t a speck of him left in the Frost Giant child once the illusion dissipated, but the mask was gone and he could see the true Nál and knew in his heart, this was his child.
Loki had tricked Thor in the most deplorable way possibly to attain leverage amongst the Æsir, bearing an heir to Asgard. He did it; as he claimed, to bring peace between their realms. Jotunheim was rightly his and he had reclaimed it by slaying Utgard-Loki and taking his rightful place as monarch. With a child of both realms, they could put behind the millennia of war and hate and start a knew. Loki wasn’t know as the God of Lies for nothing and he spoke with a sincerity that made Thor believe him. Loki left Nál with Thor in order for him to get to know his child before returning to Jotunheim. Even at such a young age, Nál proved to be an adapt sorcerer and fought his battles with magic rather than a warrior. It was, to say the least, a bit of a struggle but Frigga proved to be the bridge between them. With her motherly help, Nál quickly became attached to his newfound family and blossomed from his silent youth. For two years, he was surrounded by love.
Loki returned to Asgard long enough to gather Nál and return to Jotunheim without so much as a tearful goodbye. From the beginning it had been apart of Loki’s plan, to soften Thor and make him blind to the obvious. Per instructions, Nál smuggled away Gríðarvölr from the weapon’s vault, a great staff of power. It would be over 15 years before Thor would see his child again. Back in Jotunheim, Nál was broken down, his love for Thor admonished and manipulated into believing only Loki loved him. He was taught magic, a grueling exercise that was harsh and unforgiving and when he failed, he was left to the mercy of the Frost Giants. He learned to be small and unseen, bend under the will of others and never break.
Nál was 24 when he returned to Asgard and his father. He had changed, no longer the little boy Thor knew and remembered. Loki had become furious with his lack of skill and strength, disowning his child and throwing him to the bleakness of Jotunheim to fend for himself. Only by luck did he make it to the Bifrost. With nowhere to go, Nál could only think of one place. The ruse of a story was perfectly executed and he was welcomed back as if he had never left. Acting as a spy for Loki, Nál remains in Thor’s good favor, granting him safe passage between Asgard and the other realms in the pretense of learning and growth.
