Sorry folks, the role of friend has been filled, move along. Being JJ's friend is probably one of the hardest things a person will go through. Just ask Cash. JJ, for all the hype, for all the bluster, for all the fame is a very lonely boy and has retreated into his world in his own little twisted self imposed exile. There is only room for one. If it wasn't for Cash, JJ might not still be around. He needs people around him, as much as he'll gripe about them, people he can trust and relax and be himself, he needs fellow Avengers. Since he is not easy to get along with, new friendships will more than likely be held together at first by the other person able to see through the miniscule flaws of JJ.

The door is wide open here, with a great big welcome sign and flashing neon lights. There's a queue though, so grab a number and a cup of coffee and wait till you're called. As an Avenger you rack up your collection of enemies, JJ is really gifted in this. He has a talent for regularly pissing people off. There are also a lot of his dad's enemies collecting dust who really have a beef with Iron Man. Outside of the Avengers he's got combating markets, other industries, businesses he's overrun, you name it, JJ's probably got an enemy or two in it.

JJ has his share of girlfriends and boyfriends and friends with benefits, friends without benefits but are still pretty, one night stands I promise I'll call you, etc. JJ is a fun boyfriend who will lavish you with expensive gifts and trips but will also accidentally ignore you for two weeks straight while hiding out in his workspace. So few are willing to wait for him and he's known for being quite the playboy. If you're looking for a quiet relationship, no such luck, if you're dating JJ Stark, the entire world is going to know about it. JJ keeps an open relationship and has no interest in settling down any time soon.
